Unicorns = Dominant Race
As you may have guessed by the title of the blog, this is a ramble. Let's say we institute genetically-bred unicorns. The research would be funded by the government with our tax money. The research turns out successful and the unicorns are massed produced. Pretty soon, every kid around the world has their own unicorn. What happens then? Well first off, let's talk about the utilities a unicorn would have. It has its horn which would be the focal point for using magic. This magic would be valuable in its conquest. Speaking of which, the magic might not be known to the researchers who made the unicorns. Suppose the unicorns have proteins that are used for magic. Well, considering that unicorns might have millions of types of proteins, how would they know which combination is the right one? Magic is therefore inaccessible to the general public.
